WHO WE ARE

Fanclub is a Cornell-based club that bolsters the Ithaca music scene with intimate, high-energy shows that showcase bands of all sounds. In the past we've had a knack for booking bands just before they reach indie music stardom, but mostly we just want to make the kids dance.

And you can too! Join the listserv to find out when we meet, come to meetings with ideas for shows, and start contacting bands AFTER contacting an officer!

Fanclub was recently praised by Jenny Eliscu in her guidebook: “Schools that Rock: The Rolling Stone College Guide” because “some college students have been working to boost the town’s rock scene. The Cornell-based Fanclub Collective, for instance, formed in 2001 by Chris Adams and Jessica Wolkoff to encourage the development of a stronger indie rock scene in Ithaca.
